With over 18 years of specialized Mercedes-Benz training our technicians are well versed in Mercedes-Benz protocol and therefore understand the importance that these vehicles should ONLY be repaired by Certified Collision Centers in order to return them to pre-accident condition.
The Mercedes-Benz Certification ensures each customer that the vehicle they have repaired will not only be returned to the beautiful vehicle it was before the accident, but that it will also continue to be the safest vehicle on the road; a guarantee non-Certified shops cannot make.
At Gilson Autobody we are proud to be the only Mercedes Certified Collision Center in Northern Nevada; a designation that Mercedes-Benz describes as "the pinnacle of collision service for Mercedes-Benz vehicles."
Below is an excerpt from the Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision page: "Mercedes-Benz distinctive features require distinctive attention. We recommend that ONLY Certified Facilities undertake paint work or body repairs on your vehicle. Certified Collision Facilities understand the unique features and particular needs of you vehicle and they have the tools, equipment, and training needed to repair paint and body damage. While the vehicle owner may elect to have repairs (collision damage repair or paint work) performed by any automotive repair establishment or individual, damage or malfunction caused otherwise by not properly performed repairs are not covered by the Mercedes-Benz New Car Limited Warranty and may cause the car to not perform as originally designed in a subsequent collision to the repaired area." |
